While the Denali includes a standard 5.3 L engine, drivers can opt to upgrade to a 6.2L V8 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission or a 3.0L Duramax Turbo Diesel engine for a more efficient ride.

The Denali Ultimate comes standard with the 6.2L V8 engine or the optional 3.0L Duramax Turbo Diesel engine. 

When it comes to power, the GMC Sierra 1500 delivers up to 420 horsepower and as much as 450 lb.-ft of torque in the Denali and Denali Ultimate trims.
