Coverage Limits

The plan pays whichever of these is the lesser amount per covered tire:

✓The original purchase price of the covered tire
✓Up to $399 per covered tire
✓The current retail price of the covered tire at time of claim
✓One replacement per covered tire during the coverage term

All claims must be submitted at Shaganappi GM where your tires were purchased. Maintain vehicle per manufacturer specifications.

What's Not Covered

These situations fall outside the plan's coverage:

✕Normal wear, dry rot, or gradual deterioration over time
✕Mechanical failures, collision damage, or overloading
✕Improper installation or abnormal wear from misalignment or suspension
✕Cosmetic damage only (scuffs, scratches, discoloration)
✕Losses already covered by manufacturer warranty or auto insurance

Bottom line: you have a 5-day full-refund window. After that, the plan is in effect — which is the whole point, because Calgary roads don't care about your timeline.

Road hazards typically include nails, screws, glass, potholes, and other road debris that puncture or damage your tire. The key is that it must be a covered hazard as defined in your contract — our team can walk you through this when you purchase.

Yes — in the event of covered damage, bring the vehicle to the Shaganappi GM dealership where you purchased the tires. That's where we verify coverage, manage the claim, and get you back on the road.

Coverage begins on the date of purchase — so yes, you're covered right away. Register your tires promptly and keep your receipt. Don't test it on day one intentionally. The road will do that on its own.

If no claims have been made, you can cancel within 5 days of purchase for a full refund. After 5 days, the plan is non-cancelable — though province-specific Terms and Conditions may have additional provisions.

You'll get a tire of equal or similar features and functionality — not a downgrade. The plan also covers mounting, balancing, valve stem, TPMS, and taxes up to $15 per tire.

Unfortunately, no. Normal wear, dry rot, and gradual deterioration are excluded. This is road hazard coverage — sudden, unexpected damage from the road. Keep tires properly inflated and rotated and they'll serve you well.
